The below picture was taken in a shopping mall in Singapore. The escalator broke down frequently as a result of inconsistently carrying out passengers for many years. Its main part aging has caused potential safety hazards. Later the Hanson lift spent ten days modernizing it by EME type method. As the long-term supplier of Hanson, Hpmont product was also applied in this project.

This is not the first time that Hanson and Hpmont cooperated in overseas projects. For example, the Incheon Airport in South Korea also uses Hanson escalator and Hpmont control system.

ENERGY SAVING

If elevator keeps running at full speed at no-load conditions, it will cause huge energy waste.

Therefore, HD30-ES controller is equipped with the inlet photoelectric signal input function that the escalator can automatically adjust the running speed according to the real-time passenger flow, so as to reduce the energy consumption and extend the service life of the escalator.

It also supports bypass frequency conversion: the controller pre-start, and its power is lower than that of the motor, which effectively saves cost.

MUCH SAFER

Module and capacitor with redundancy design ensure that the escalator can run at full load for a long time.

Automatically decrease the frequency according to the temperature, ensuring the safe, reliable and long-term run of IGBT.

The real-time position detection function ensures that emergency stop and start operation is not allowed when someone is on the escalator but fault alarm is allowed.
